Several people have been reported trapped either in vehicles or in homes. Numerous roads are reported flooded along with many structures. Rainfall amounts of 5 to 7 inches have been recorded by gages throughout the area since this afternoon. FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Central Upshur County including the areas in and around Buckhannon. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of low water crossings, small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
