Wildwood State Park encompasses 600 acres of undeveloped hardwood forest perched on high bluffs overlooking Long Island Sound in Wading River, NY. The campground offers 314 tent and trailer sites distributed across eight loops (A through E plus T loops) and 10 rental cottages ranging from 1- to 2-bedroom units that sleep 2-6 people. Sites accommodate equipment up to 20-30 feet and include picnic tables, with fire rings available using metal containers. Amenities include modern restroom facilities with showers, potable water stations, an RV dump station, and a camp store selling firewood and renting fire containers. Recreation options abound with 12 miles of marked hiking trails, 2 miles of sandy beach on Long Island Sound, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and ball fields. The park hosts movie nights on Wednesdays and Saturdays during July and August. Pets are prohibited throughout the park year-round. Check-in times vary by day (9PM Mon-Wed, 10PM Thu, 11:30PM Fri-Sat) and maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights. Three of the ten cottages are ADA accessible.
