Locations include, but are not limited to Craig, Steamboat Springs, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Meeker, Rangely, Glenwood Springs, Eagle, Vail, Breckenridge, Central City, Georgetown, Grand Junction, Aspen, Leadville, Fairplay, Delta, Gunnison, Buena Vista, Salida, Montrose, Nucla, Ouray, Telluride, Dove Creek, and Saguache. Tappan Lake Park, managed by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, spans 5,000 acres surrounding the 2,350-acre Tappan Lake in eastern Ohio. The park offers over 550 campsites, ranging from primitive tent sites to full hook-up RV spots, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and a camp store. The park features a swimming beach open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with designated hours and no lifeguards on duty. Boating enthusiasts can access the lake via multiple boat ramps, and a full-service marina offers boat rentals, fuel, and supplies. Fishing is popular, with the lake stocked annually with various fish species. Hiking trails provide opportunities to explore the surrounding woodlands, and playgrounds are available for children. The park hosts seasonal events, including outdoor movie nights and nature programs. Pets are welcome in all camp areas but are not permitted in cabins or on the beach.

Tappan Lake Park is located at 84000 Mallarnee Road, Deersville, Ohio 44693. From Lake George, Colorado, head east on US-24 E toward Colorado Springs. Merge onto I-25 N and continue into Wyoming. Take I-80 E through Nebraska and Iowa, then I-74 E into Illinois. Merge onto I-70 E through Indiana and Ohio. Take exit 193 for OH-800 N toward Uhrichsville. Continue on OH-800 N, then take US-250 E to Mallarnee Road in Deersville.
