About

Springbrook State Park sits on 930 acres of scenic terrain in Guthrie County, offering a peaceful camping experience away from the crowds. The park features rolling hills, mature timber, and a 17-acre lake stocked with crappie, largemouth bass, and bluegill. Three fishing jetties and two docks provide ample access for anglers, while a sandy beach offers swimming opportunities during warmer months. The campground contains 110 sites spread across several categories: 77 standard electric sites with 20/30 or 20/30/50 amp service, 14 standard non-electric sites, 14 tent-only sites, plus a buddy site, multifamily cabin, shelters, and a youth group area. Facilities include modern ADA-accessible restrooms and showers, a sanitary dump station, and water hydrants throughout. Within the campground, visitors can enjoy sand volleyball, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, and a playground. The park offers 12 miles of trails ranging from leisurely routes through timber and prairie to more challenging paths for experienced hikers and bikers. The Raccoon River flows through the park, providing additional fishing opportunities beyond the lake.
