About

Sharp Creek Group sits at 6,000 feet elevation in the Tonto National Forest, surrounded by thick ponderosa pine forest below the Mogollon Rim. The campground is specifically designed for large gatherings such as weddings, birthday parties, and anniversaries. Three group sites can each accommodate up to 75 people, with designated vault bathrooms and paved parking areas for day visitors. A large open field shared among the sites provides space for group games and activities. The location offers easy access to outdoor recreation opportunities. Christopher Creek, less than a mile away, provides trout fishing opportunities. The historic Highline National Recreational Trail, which runs 51 miles along the base of the Mogollon Rim, can be accessed from the 260 Trailhead about six miles east of the campground. Woods Canyon and Willow Springs Lakes sit above the rim just 10 minutes away, offering additional fishing and boating options. The small town of Christopher Creek is nearby for basic conveniences and dining.
