About

Campground 1 is located at Roaring River State Park, one of Missouri's most popular state parks nestled in a deep, narrow valley surrounded by rugged Ozark landscape. The campground operates year-round with electric and full-hookup sites, including 50-amp electric service for larger RVs. An accessible showerhouse with restrooms stays open throughout the year, along with laundry facilities, a dump station, and frost-free water spigots. The park is renowned for its rainbow trout fishing, with the spring-fed Roaring River providing exceptional angling opportunities. Beyond fishing, visitors can explore seven hiking trails, visit the nature center, or enjoy the on-site restaurant and camp store. Rustic cabins and lodge accommodations are also available for those seeking alternatives to camping. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through Missouri State Parks' online system or by calling 877-ICampMO. Camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period. Pets are welcome with a maximum of two dogs per campsite, kept on leashes no longer than 10 feet.
