About

Campground 2 is one of three campgrounds at Roaring River State Park, situated in the rugged Ozark hills of Barry County, Missouri. The park is renowned as one of three Missouri state parks stocked with rainbow trout, making it a premier destination for anglers. The campground provides electric and family sites, including 50-amp service options, designed to accommodate RVs and trailers. The campground operates seasonally from February 25 through October 31, with a modern showerhouse featuring flush restrooms, accessible shower facilities, and designated accessible parking. A dump station is located near the showerhouse. Water is available from frost-free spigots throughout the campground during the on-season. Each site includes a parking pad, picnic table, fire grill, and lantern post. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system online or by calling 877-ICampMO. Sites may be available on a walk-up basis if not reserved. The park also features a nature center, park store, lodging options including rustic cabins and the historic CCC Lodge, and full-service dining at the Emory Melton Inn.
