About

Evangola State Park campground occupies a scenic stretch of Lake Erie shoreline in Irving, New York, about 30 miles southwest of Buffalo. The park's natural sand beach and arc-shaped coastline make it a popular destination for summer camping. The 80 campsites accommodate tents and RVs up to 40 feet, with 50 amp electric hookups available. Six yurts and one cabin provide alternative lodging options for those seeking more shelter. The campground offers full facilities including hot showers, flush restrooms, a dump station, and water fillup station. A camp store sells firewood, ice, and supplies. Beyond camping, the park features a nature center open from early July through early September, disc golf, hiking trails, fishing access, and courts for basketball, tennis, and baseball. Winter visitors can enjoy snowmobiling and cross-country skiing trails. Pets are permitted at campsites with a maximum of two per site, kept on a 6-foot leash at all times. The park has ADA-accessible restrooms, playground, and facilities. Vehicle entrance fees apply during Memorial Day through Labor Day.
