About

North Shore Campground occupies a prime location on Noxon Reservoir in Montana's Kootenai National Forest, offering direct access to the Clark Fork River for fishing, boating, and water recreation. The 16-site campground includes three pull-through sites and can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, with paved campground roads and parking spurs throughout. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water available from a hand pump, and a fully developed boat launch with dock and boat parking. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. A campground host is present during the operating season. Six additional picnic sites near the boat ramp (two with covered shelters) are available for day use only. The campground operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with the access gate closed from December 1 through May 1 depending on snow conditions. Nearby Trout Creek offers additional services including dump station, showers, laundry, gas, ice, and a store.
