About
Bull River Pavilion is a reservable group facility nestled in a wooded area at the confluence of the Bull River and Clark Fork River in northwestern Montana. The pavilion offers spectacular views of the surrounding forest dominated by cedar and Douglas fir at approximately 2,200 feet elevation. It can accommodate groups of up to 100 people and provides parking for 5 camping vehicles and 7 single vehicles on gravel surfaces. The accessible pavilion features electricity within the structure, picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills. An accessible vault toilet and drinking water from a hand pump are provided. The facility is located at the back of Bull River Campground, giving visitors access to a fully developed boat launch with a dock on 3,200-acre Cabinet Gorge Reservoir. The rivers provide excellent fishing opportunities for large and smallmouth bass, perch, rainbow and brown trout. Visitors can also enjoy tours of the Noxon Rapids Dam, located less than 10 miles southeast. Nearby Trout Creek offers additional services including dump facilities, showers, laundry, gas, ice, and a store.
