Located 21 miles northeast of Kamiah, Idaho, this rustic campground provides a peaceful setting for those seeking a backcountry camping experience with the soothing sounds of running water. Five campsites are positioned along Lolo Creek, while four sites sit alongside Eldorado Creek, all connected by gravel roads and camping spurs. The campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, tent pads, and bulletin boards. No potable water is available, so campers must bring their own water supply. Stock animals are not permitted in the campground. The location provides excellent access to diverse recreation opportunities, including the nearby Lewis & Clark Trail (#25) and the Musselshell OHV Trail System, making it particularly popular with OHV trail riders. Anglers will appreciate the fishing opportunities in the creeks, while hikers can explore the surrounding forest trails. The area is known for huckleberry picking in season and offers exceptional scenery throughout the year. At an elevation of 4,500 feet, the campground sits within the Lochsa-Highway 12 Corridor recreation region and provides a quiet base camp for exploring this historic and scenic area.
