About
Katy Branch is a former Young Adult Conservation Camp that has been converted into a private group pavilion rental facility within the Cherokee National Forest's Bald Mountains region. The site offers a unique outdoor venue surrounded by beautiful Tennessee woodlands, located approximately half-way between Greeneville and Erwin. The main pavilion features an outdoor fireplace, a large charcoal grill, and an attached kitchen area with a food prep space and dish-washing sink (no oven). Two restrooms are available on-site. Folding chairs and tables are provided for group use. The facility can accommodate up to 125 people and is located behind a locked gate, ensuring privacy for events. The surrounding property includes forested land available for hiking and exploration, as well as open areas suitable for group activities. While not directly on the Nolichucky River, the river is located approximately 0.5 miles from the site. The private camp setting makes it ideal for dinners, gatherings, weddings, and other group events in a natural forest environment.
Directions
