About
Horseshoe Bend Campground occupies a scenic peninsula along Beaver Lake in the Ozark Mountains near Rogers, Arkansas. As the largest Corps of Engineers campground on the lake, it offers 188 campsites with electric hookups (including 50-amp service) plus 3 group picnic pavilions. The campground features a mix of back-in and pull-through sites on paved surfaces, with many accommodating large RVs and trailers up to 53 feet. Sites are well-shaded with mature hardwoods and include concrete picnic tables and fire rings on level crushed rock pads. Beaver Lake spans over 28,000 surface acres and offers excellent fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bream, white bass, stripers, and catfish. The campground provides two boat launch ramps and an on-site marina for water access. A swimming beach, hiking trails, and wildlife viewing opportunities round out the recreation options. Below the dam, the cold waters of the upper White River support rainbow and German brown trout. The surrounding Ozark landscape features towering limestone bluffs, natural caves, and diverse hardwood and evergreen forests. Hunters can access nearby public lands for deer, rabbit, and squirrel in season. The campground sits approximately 8 miles east of Rogers off Highway 94.
