About
Hickory Creek Park sits along the vast shores of Beaver Lake in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas, offering spacious and sunny campsites with an abundance of recreational activities. The campground features 55 campsites with electric hookups, including standard RV sites and tent-only sites, plus two group shelters available for reservation through Recreation.gov. The park provides excellent access to Beaver Lake's 28,000 surface acres and 449 miles of shoreline. Fishing opportunities are plentiful, with anglers targeting largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bream, white bass, stripers, and catfish. The park includes a boat launch, courtesy dock, dump station, flush toilets, playground, and multiple picnic facilities. A multipurpose field accommodates soccer and other activities. Towering limestone bluffs, natural caves, and diverse forests surround the campground, making it ideal for hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring the Ozarks. Additional activities include swimming, scuba diving, water skiing, and spelunking. The area offers both developed recreation at the lake and access to remote hunting areas for deer, rabbits, and squirrels. Several marinas near the lake provide groceries, fuel, boat rentals, and fishing guides.
