From Recreation.gov
To improve the camping experience for our guests at all Beaver Lake campgrounds, the Check-Out time for campsite reservations will be adjusted from 3:00pm to 1:00pm on the day that reservation ends. This change will apply to all reservations beginning on or after April 1st, 2026, regardless of when the reservation was originally booked. Check-In time will remain 4:00pm on the day incoming reservations start. The additional time before incoming reservation holders may check in will allow Park Attendants, Cleaners, and Park Ranger staff to ensure that outgoing guests have not only vacated their sites, but that the facilities are fully operational, clean, and prepared to welcome incoming guests. As always, should you wish to make, modify, or cancel a reservation, you may do so from your [Recreation.gov][1] account or by calling 1-877-444-6777. We look forward to seeing you at Beaver Lake this recreation season! [1]: http://Recreation.gov
About
Hickory Creek Park is a US Army Corps of Engineers campground situated on the shores of Beaver Lake in the Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas. The park features approximately 64 campsites spread across Hickory Creek Loop and Pine Loop, all with 50-amp electric hookups. Towering limestone bluffs, natural caves, and a variety of hardwood and evergreen trees surround the campground. Beaver Lake offers over 28,000 surface acres of water and 449 miles of shoreline for fishing, boating, swimming, and water skiing. Anglers can pursue largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bream, white bass, striped bass, and catfish. Below the dam, the cold waters of the upper White River support rainbow and German brown trout. The campground provides flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station, boat ramp, beach access, and playground. During winter camping season (November 1 through March 31), water is not available at campsites and showers are closed, though water remains available at the dump station. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov with check-in at 4:00 PM and checkout at 1:00 PM.
