Hall Valley Campground sits at 9,900 feet elevation in the Pike National Forest, offering 9 primitive campsites in a remote mountain setting. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis only and cannot be reserved in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with a shared vault toilet serving the campground. Parking spurs range from 16-30 feet, suitable for tents, smaller RVs, and trailers.
The area provides access to Gibson Lake Trail #633, a 2.4-mile moderate-to-steep hike, and serves as a staging point for four-wheel drive routes to Webster Pass and Red Cone Pass. The campground typically offers full services from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, with an extended season available when services like water, trash collection, and campground hosts may not be present.
Dogs are permitted but must be leashed at all times. Sites are limited to 8 persons, 2 tents, and either 2 vehicles or 1 RV. Discharge of firearms and fireworks is prohibited. Camping is not allowed behind locked gates.
