About

Pine Loop is part of Hardin Ridge Recreation Area, a 1,200-acre complex on the shores of Monroe Reservoir in Hoosier National Forest. The loop offers approximately 30 wooded campsites under full shade, with electric hookups ranging from 30 to 50 amps. Select sites also include water hookups. Each site features a fire ring and picnic table on a gravel pad, with back-in driveways accommodating RVs and trailers up to 35-40 feet. The campground provides modern amenities including centralized flush toilets and hot shower facilities. Potable water spigots are located throughout the area, and an RV dump station is available near the gatehouse. Reservations are handled through Recreation.gov. Hardin Ridge offers excellent lake recreation with a three-lane boat ramp, swim beach, and fishing for bluegill, striped bass, largemouth bass, and crappie. The 2-mile Hardin Ridge Trail connects the campground loops to the day-use area, providing a safe route for hiking and biking. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
