About

East Marvine Campground sits at 8,200 feet in Colorado's White River National Forest, serving as a gateway to the Flat Tops Wilderness. The campground offers 8 standard non-electric sites and 2 equestrian sites, all first-come, first-served. Each site has a picnic table and fire grate. Vault toilets and trash disposal are provided, but there is no potable water. The Marvine parking areas accommodate trailers and larger vehicles with ample space. Hitchracks are available in the parking lot, and corrals can be rented for $5 per day at three sites adjacent to the campground. Livestock may be watered at a stream approximately 400 yards away. Only certified weed-free forage and bedding is permitted. The campground is adjacent to East Marvine Trail #1822 and Marvine Trail #1823, which lead into the Flat Tops Wilderness where wilderness regulations apply. Nearby fishing opportunities include East Marvine Creek, Marvine Creek, Marvine Lakes, Rainbow Lake, and Guthrie Lake. Domestic cattle may be grazing in the area.
