About

Situated 17 miles east of North Bend at exit 47 off Interstate 90, Denny Creek Campground occupies a forested setting in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The campground contains 33 sites spread across multiple loops, including standard non-electric sites, electric sites with 30-amp service, double sites, and a group site. Campsites sit beneath towering Douglas-fir, western hemlock, and western red cedar, with several sites positioned along the banks of Lodge Creek. The location serves as a prime basecamp for exploring the Northern Cascades. The Denny Creek Trail leads directly into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, while Franklin Falls Trail offers an easy hike to a scenic waterfall. The nearby Asahel Curtis Nature Trail winds through one of the last remaining stands of old-growth forest in the Snoqualmie Valley. The area also provides opportunities for fishing in the Snoqualmie River and winter activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing when access permits. The campground operates seasonally from May through September with reservations available through Recreation.gov. Some sites remain first-come, first-served. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. A 14-night maximum stay limit applies.
