About

Moonshine Beach Recreation Area is a day-use facility operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the shores of Table Rock Lake, just north of Table Rock Dam near Branson, Missouri. It is the only sand swimming beach on the lake, making it a highly popular destination for families and large groups seeking a beach experience in the Ozarks. The recreation area offers a spacious sandy beach, volleyball court, boat ramp with courtesy dock, and a reservable group picnic shelter that can accommodate up to 75 guests. Life jacket loaner stations are available for swimmer safety. The adjacent Dewey Short Visitor Center provides access to the Table Rock Lakeshore Trail, a scenic 2-mile path to Table Rock State Park Marina. This is strictly a day-use facility with no overnight camping. The park operates from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a $5 per vehicle fee payable by credit or debit card only at the self-service fee machine. Parking is limited and no pets are allowed.

Directions

From Branson, Missouri, take Highway 165 to Table Rock Dam. The park is just north of the dam.
