About

Bradbury Mountain State Park Campground provides a group camping experience on 800 acres of forested land in Pownal, Maine. Located on Route 9 between Portland and Lewiston-Auburn and just west of Freeport, the park attracts visitors who enjoy hiking, picnicking, and camping in a natural setting. The summit of Bradbury Mountain offers views of Casco Bay and the White Mountains. The campground consists of two secluded group campsites designed for tent camping only. Each site accommodates up to 50 campers and features a large Adirondack shelter that can sleep 6-8 people, along with a fire ring and picnic table. Hot showers are available during the regular operating season. Potable water is available seasonally but not during winter camping periods. Reservations open February 1st at 9:00 AM EST each year and must be made by phone. The park is open year-round from 9:00 AM to sunset daily, though campground facilities are closed during the off-season. Winter camping is available with prior arrangement by calling the park directly.

Located at 528 Hallowell Road, Pownal, ME. The park is on Route 9 about halfway between Portland and Lewiston-Auburn, a short drive west of Freeport.
