Big Slide Campground is a rustic, no-fee tent camping area located in the remote South Fork Trinity River region of Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The facility features 8 tent-only campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The campground provides vault toilets but no potable water, so visitors must bring their own water or be prepared to treat water from the river. The campground's location along the South Fork Trinity River makes it ideal for river activities including swimming and fishing. Access requires traveling through Hyampom on Lower South Fork Road, passing private residences before reaching the campground. Directions

From Hayfork take Hyampom Rd until it splits in Hyampom. Then take Lower South Fork Road across the bridge and past the private residences to the campground.
