About

Woolly Hollow State Park, located 18 miles north of Conway near Greenbrier, is a quiet escape in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. The park's centerpiece is 40-acre Lake Bennett, a no-wake lake perfect for kayaking, canoeing, pedal boating, and fishing. A seasonal lifeguarded swimming beach provides relief in warmer months. The campground offers 30 Class AAA sites with full hookups including water, sewer, and 50-amp electric service on paved, level pads that can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet. Ten primitive Class D tent sites provide a more rustic experience without hookups. All sites include fire rings and picnic tables. A modern bathhouse provides hot showers and flush toilets, with a dump station located near site 21. Beyond camping, the park features hiking and mountain biking trails, historic structures including the Woolly Cabin, and excellent bird watching and stargazing opportunities away from city lights.

Directions

From Conway, head north on US-65 for approximately 12 miles. Turn east on AR-285 and continue about 6 miles to the park entrance at 82 Woolly Hollow Road, Greenbrier, AR 72058.
