Tucked away in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Faulkner County, Woolly Hollow State Park Campground offers a classic Arkansas camping experience. The 370-acre park centers around 40-acre Lake Bennett, built in the 1930s by the Soil Conservation Service as its first watershed project. The campground provides 30 Class AAA sites with full hookups including water, sewer, and 50-amp electric service, along with 10 primitive tent sites. All campers have access to a modern bathhouse with hot showers. Each site includes a picnic table and grill. The park offers extensive recreational opportunities beyond camping. Lake Bennett features a lifeguarded swimming beach open during summer months, a boat launch with canoe, kayak, and pedal boat rentals, and quality fishing. Hikers can explore four trails including the historic Huckleberry Trail completed by the CCC in 1935. Mountain bikers will enjoy the challenging 9.4-mile Enders Fault Trail. History enthusiasts can visit the Woolly Cabin, an original 1882 one-room homestead. The visitor center is open year-round with interpretive programs available throughout the year. Located near Greenbrier and just 50 miles north of Little Rock, Woolly Hollow provides a convenient escape into the natural beauty of the Arkansas Ozarks with modern amenities for both RV and tent campers.

From I-40 at Conway, take Exit #125 and travel 12 miles north on U.S. 65, then go six miles east on Ark. 285 to the park.
