About
Narrows campground occupies a scenic peninsula on Greers Ferry Lake in the Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas. The 58-site campground is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and bookable through Recreation.gov. Sites are distributed across loops A, B, C, D, and Narrows, with all sites featuring electric hookups, paved parking spurs, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Two group shelters with electric service are also available. The campground provides flush and vault toilets, hot showers, potable water, and an RV dump station. A boat ramp and marina offer direct lake access for boating, fishing, water skiing, sailing, swimming, and scuba diving. Three National Nature Trails and a multi-purpose fitness trail are accessible nearby. The surrounding forest features red cedar, black gum, red oak, elm, pecan, and sweet gum trees, providing shade in summer and fall color. Wildlife including white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and various bird species are commonly seen. The William Carl Garner Visitor Center west of the dam features exhibits and a replica of the world-record 40 lb. 4 oz. brown trout caught in the Little Red River.
