About
Heber Springs Park sits on the southern shore of Greers Ferry Lake, a 31,500-acre reservoir in the Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The campground offers 114 sites spread across multiple loops, with 95 featuring 30-amp or 50-amp electric hookups and water connections. Each site includes a paved parking spur, picnic table, fire ring, and BBQ pedestal grill. Facilities include both flush and vault toilets, hot showers, a trailer dump station, drinking water, playground, and picnic shelter. A large boat ramp provides direct lake access, and a marina is located nearby. Greers Ferry Lake is renowned for its exceptionally clear, deep water ideal for scuba diving, and the tailwaters of the Little Red River below the dam hold the state record for brown trout. The surrounding area features three National Recreation Trails and a multi-purpose fitness trail. The William Carl Garner Visitor Center near the dam offers exhibits including a replica of the world record 40 lb. 4 oz. brown trout caught in the Little Red River.
