About

Heber Springs Park is located on Greers Ferry Lake in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The campground offers 114 sites with 95 electric hookups and 19 non-electric sites spread across multiple loops. Amenities include flush and vault toilets, hot showers, a trailer dump station, boat ramp, swimming area, and playground. The campground also features two group shelters available for reservation. Greers Ferry Lake is renowned for its deep, clear waters with visibility so exceptional that scuba diving is a popular activity. The 30,000-acre lake provides excellent opportunities for boating, sailing, water skiing, swimming, and fishing. The lake is famous for its world-record brown trout caught in the downstream Little Red River. The surrounding area features dense forests of red cedar, black gum, red oak, elm, pecan, and sweet gum trees that provide summer shade and brilliant fall colors. Visitors commonly see white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and diverse bird species. Hikers can explore three National Nature Trails and a multi-purpose fitness trail in the area. The nearby William Carl Garner Visitor Center, located just west of the dam, features exhibits, a children's touch table, and a replica of the world-record 40 lb. 4 oz. brown trout.

From Heber Springs, travel 2 miles west on SR-110, then 0.5 miles north on the paved access road. Follow signs to campground.
