About

Moro Bay State Park sits at the confluence of Raymond Lake and the Ouachita River in Bradley County, Arkansas, offering a quiet retreat in the piney woods of south Arkansas. The campground provides 23 Class AAA campsites, each with water, 50-amp electric, and sewer hookups on spacious 60-foot pads designed to accommodate larger RVs and trailers. The bathhouse remains open year-round with hot showers and modern restrooms. The park's marina serves as a hub for water recreation, offering boat and slip rentals along with fuel services. A camp store at the visitor center stocks groceries, camping supplies, ice, firewood, and bait and tackle for anglers. The park features several hiking trails winding through the forested terrain, a playground for families, and a picnic pavilion. Historically, the site commemorates the Moro Bay Ferry, which operated from 1840 to the early 1900s as a vital crossing point on the Ouachita River. Interpretive exhibits at the visitor center detail this transportation heritage. The calm waters and scenic backdrops make this an ideal destination for fishing, kayaking, and wildlife observation.
