Sterlington Recreation Area is a day-use recreation site managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as part of the Ouachita-Black River Columbia Pool project in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Situated along the scenic Ouachita River approximately 20 miles north of Monroe, the area provides convenient river access and outdoor recreation opportunities for the local community. The facility features a reservable picnic pavilion equipped with electric capability and a grill, making it suitable for group gatherings and family events. Additional amenities include a playground, an 18-hole disc golf course, and a boat ramp for watercraft access to the Ouachita River. A comfort station is available on site.
