About

Lolo Creek Campground is a free, primitive campground in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests consisting of 9 camping units spread along two creeks. Five sites are positioned along Lolo Creek while four sites border Eldorado Creek, all accessible via gravel roads and camping spurs. The campground sits at 4,500 feet elevation about 21 miles northeast of Kamiah, Idaho. Facilities are basic: two vault toilets serve the campground, and each site includes tent pads with fire rings and picnic tables. There is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. Stock animals are not permitted in the campground. The location makes it an excellent staging point for the Musselshell OHV Trail System and the historic Lewis & Clark Trail (#25). Recreation opportunities include OHV trail riding, hiking, backpacking, fishing in the creeks, swimming, mountain biking, and seasonal huckleberry picking.

Directions

Take Forest Road 100 northeast from Kamiah, Idaho for 21 miles to reach the campground.
