About
Big Rock Campground is a developed recreation area in White Mountain National Forest, named after the prominent glacial boulder visible near the campground entrance. The campground features 28 individual wooded sites, each equipped with a picnic table, tent pad, and parking turnout. Eight walk-to sites share a common parking area, while most other sites have suitable parking for small trailers and motorhomes. Sites 21-28 are designated tent-only sites. No water, electrical, or sewage hookups are provided.
Located on the scenic Kancamagus Highway just off Interstate 93 exit 32, the campground offers convenient access to a variety of recreational opportunities including swimming, fishing, hiking, picnicking, and scenic driving. Nearby attractions include the East Branch Pemigewasset River, Upper Lady's Bath, Otter Rocks, Lincoln Woods Visitor Center, Greely Ponds Scenic Area, and numerous popular hiking trails. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with fees collected through a self-service pay system.
Directions
The campground is located off Exit 32 on Interstate 93, 6-7 miles east on the Kancamagus Highway (NH Route 112) in Lincoln.
