About
Link Creek Campground sits on the shores of Suttle Lake in the Deschutes National Forest, approximately 13 miles northwest of Sisters, Oregon. The campground offers 30 standard campsites and 3 yurts spread across relatively flat terrain with easy access to the water. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with grill. Vault toilets and potable drinking water are available, though the water system typically operates from May through September 30. The campground features a boat ramp providing direct lake access for both motorized and non-motorized watercraft. Suttle Lake covers 253 acres with an average depth of 44 feet and sustains kokanee, brown trout, whitefish, and crayfish. The 3.2-mile Suttle Lake Loop Trail follows the wooded shoreline through mixed conifer forest, offering fishing and picnicking opportunities along the way. The yurts are equipped with bunk beds, a double futon, wood stove, wall heater, table, chairs, and electricity. They are available year-round, while standard campsites operate seasonally. The maximum site spur length is 50 feet. Link Creek is considered the best of the Suttle Lake campgrounds for RV camping.
