Southern Montrose County in west central Colorado... * Until 730 PM MDT. * At 618 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Highway 145 between Norwood Hill and Placerville. Between 0.6 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring with multiple mudslides reported around 3:45 pm MDT along Highway 145 between Norwood Hill and Placerville resulting in a closure of Highway 145 between mile markers 85 and 96. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar.
