Solomon River near Niles affecting Dickinson, Ottawa and Saline Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Smoky Hill River at Enterprise. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Low land agricultural flooding occurs from near Enterprise to near Junction City. At 26.0 feet, Valley north of the Kansas Highway 43 bridge on the north side of Enterprise floods. At 27.0 feet, Railroad tracks near Enterprise flood. At 30.0 feet, Kansas Highway 43 just north of the river floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 28.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 12.8 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

At 23.0 feet, Rural overflow begins around the community of Niles. At 24.0 feet, Low land flooding continues along the river. At 27.0 feet, Arrowhead Road west of Niles floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 26.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight and continue falling to 11.2 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
