Winds gusting as high as 35 mph with the strongest gusts occurring this morning into midday. * WHERE...Eastern St. Joseph IN, Elkhart, Northern La Porte, and Western St. Joseph IN Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ this evening. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Narrow bands of snow showers will continue at times through early this morning over portions of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. Visibility may drop below 1 mile at times directly beneath one of these bands and lead to hazardous travel conditions. Strong west northwest winds gusting up to 40 mph will also lead to blowing and drifting snow, especially in rural and open areas. Use extra caution if traveling early this morning!
