At 227 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Louisville to near Idledale, or along a line from 21 miles northwest of Denver to 17 miles west of Denver, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...A weather station at the base of Coal Creek Canyon at Highway 93 and 72 intersection, and another station 3 miles north of White Ranch Open Space reported wind gusts to 60 mph. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Northeastern Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, Boulder, western Broomfield, Wheat Ridge, Lafayette, Golden, Louisville, Erie, Superior, Rocky Flats, Eldorado Springs, White Ranch Open Space, Crisman, Salina, Sunshine, Edgewater and Mountain View.

Visitors with a Pawnee Campground reservation do not need to purchase a timed ticket to enter, but must show proof of their campground reservation. Parking limited to Pawnee Campground for the duration of the reservation. A separate timed ticket is required to park at other lots in the fee area (including trailheads).
