Light snow along with northwest winds gusting over 30 mph is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow in open areas. Visibility may be less than one mile at times. The blowing and drifting snow may also make roads slippery for the morning commute. If traveling this morning, be prepared for reduced visibility and slick roads at times, especially in more open and less forested areas. The gusty winds will begin to diminish by mid morning.

The lowest wind chills will occur this morning, then again Tonight into Tuesday morning. * WHERE...Marathon, Portage, Wood, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, Vilas, and Forest Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

This includes the Tribal Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation, the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band and the St. Croix Band in Burnett County.
