WHERE...Moffat, Routt, Jackson, Grand, Rio Blanco, Garfield, Eagle, Summit, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Mesa, Pitkin, Lake, Park, Delta, Gunnison, Chaffee, Montrose, Ouray, San Miguel, Dolores, and northern parts of Montezuma and Saguache Counties. Locations include, but are not limited to Craig, Steamboat Springs, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Meeker, Rangely, Glenwood Springs, Eagle, Vail, Breckenridge, Central City, Georgetown, Grand Junction, Aspen, Leadville, Fairplay, Delta, Gunnison, Buena Vista, Salida, Montrose, Nucla, Ouray, Telluride, Dove Creek, and Saguache. About
Snowblind Campground is a first-come, first-served campground located in the Gunnison National Forest, positioned just west of the Continental Divide at an elevation of approximately 10,400 feet. The campground provides 23 campsites in a scenic mountainous setting, offering a rustic camping experience for those seeking solitude and access to backcountry recreation. The campground features vault toilets and a hand pump for drinking water. Payment can be made on-site via QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature. Due to the remote location, cellular service may be limited, so downloading the app in advance is recommended. Recreation opportunities include four-wheel driving and OHV/ATV scenic driving on nearby forest roads. The area provides access to high-elevation terrain typical of the Continental Divide region. Quiet hours are observed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
