Ridgeville Island Boat-in Campground is a small, primitive boat-access only campground located on Trinity Lake within the Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area. With only 3 campsites, this remote location offers a secluded camping experience near Ridgeville and Mariner's Roost on the east point of Mule Creek Cove in the Stuart Fork Arm of the lake. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. No piped water is available, so campers must bring their own drinking water. The remote location and boat-in access make this an ideal destination for boaters seeking solitude and a primitive camping experience on Trinity Lake. Camping at this improved campground is limited to 14 consecutive days. No fees are required. The nearest boat launch ramps are located at Minersville and Clark Springs. A floating bathroom is available seasonally on Ridgeville Island.
