Ridgeville Island Boat-in Campground
Open year-round, 24 hours a day. First-come, first-served with no reservations or fees. No potable water available; campers must bring their own supply.
About
Ridgeville Island Boat-in Campground sits on the east point of Mule Creek cove on Trinity Lake, offering a remote camping experience accessible only by boat. The campground provides just three primitive sites, making it an ideal destination for boaters seeking solitude on one of Northern California's premier recreation lakes. Facilities are minimal but functional: vault toilets and picnic tables are provided, though campers must bring all their own drinking water as none is available on site. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees required. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash of 6 feet or shorter. Trinity Lake offers excellent fishing, swimming, and waterskiing opportunities. The nearby Ridgeville and Mariner's Roost areas provide additional boat-in camping options for those exploring the lake's many coves and inlets.
