About
Michigan Creek Campground is located four miles northwest of Jefferson in Pike National Forest's South Park Ranger District at an elevation of 10,100 feet. This small, rustic campground offers 12 first-come, first-served campsites accessible via County Road 35 and County Road 54. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site, but visitors must bring their own water and pack out all trash. The campground operates mid-May through mid-October, weather dependent, with reduced services early and late in the season.
