Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... In northeast Ohio, Cuyahoga, Holmes, Medina, Stark, Summit and Wayne. In northwest Ohio, Hancock, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot. * WHEN...From 11 AM EDT this morning through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Since Sunday afternoon, three rounds of showers and storms have moved through the region and a large portion of northern Ohio has received 1 to 2 inches of rain with some locally higher amounts. Another round or two of storms is expected on Tuesday into Tuesday night that could bring another 1 to 2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts where repeated storms occur. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
