* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero expected. * WHERE...Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation, the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band and the St. Croix Band in Burnett County. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

* WHAT...For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or greater may rapidly accumulate on vessels. For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 4 to 7 ft. * WHERE...Duluth MN to Port Wing WI, Port Wing to Sand Island WI and Sand Island to Bayfield WI. * WHEN...For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 9 AM CST Monday. For the Small Craft Advisory, until midnight CST Monday night. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of stability. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
