Oak Grove Campground is a developed 30-site campground located in Lincoln National Forest near Ruidoso, New Mexico, at an elevation of 8,366 feet. The campground is nestled in oak forest surroundings with close proximity to mountain vistas of Sierra Blanca, offering a scenic mountain camping experience. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with grill. The campground provides vault toilets, a parking area, and trash collection service. However, campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on-site. The campground has a 14-day stay limit and accommodates RVs up to 18 feet in length, with a maximum of 2 vehicles per site. Oak Grove is conveniently located just 9 miles from Ruidoso, with nearby attractions including Windy Point Vista and Ski Apache. The area provides opportunities for hiking, picnicking, and exploring the Lincoln National Forest. The campground typically operates seasonally from spring through fall, closing during winter due to snow.
