About

Boise Creek Campground is nestled between Brush Mountain and Brannan Mountain in northern California's Six Rivers National Forest. The campground sits under a forest canopy of large Pacific madrone evergreen, Douglas fir, and California bay trees at 680 feet elevation. Located less than two miles from Willow Creek, the self-proclaimed Bigfoot capital of the world, the campground provides easy access to services including fuel, groceries, restaurants, and medical facilities. The campground offers 18 campsites, including three tent-only sites. All sites are furnished with picnic tables and campfire rings with grills. Vault toilets and potable drinking water are provided. Maximum trailer length is 35 feet, and there are no electric, water, or sewer hookups. Fishing, swimming, and whitewater rafting are available in the nearby Trinity River, known for migratory salmon and steelhead trout. A half-mile trail from the campground leads to Boise Creek where campers can find swimming holes and explore native plants and wildlife. The Trinity Scenic Byway is nearby, and Brush Mountain Lookout tower offers 360-degree views at 3,988 feet elevation.
