* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 23 to 30 below zero. * WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin. * WHEN...Until noon CST today. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.

Narrow bands of snow showers will continue at times through early this morning over portions of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. Visibility may drop below 1 mile at times directly beneath one of these bands and lead to hazardous travel conditions. Strong west northwest winds gusting up to 40 mph will also lead to blowing and drifting snow, especially in rural and open areas. Use extra caution if traveling early this morning!
