Campsite reservations for the 2026 summer season will become available at 9 a.m. CST on November 15. The following campsite are released on a one-week rolling booking window to provide options for short-term trip planners. * **Rainy Lake (west end):** Mio Beach R64 and Nuthatch R21 * **Rainy Lake (east end):** Jack Pine Bench R55 and Hitchcock R105 * **Kabetogama Lake:** Fox Farm K50 and Round Bear K29 * **Namakan Lake:** Johnson Bay N13 and Hammer Bay South N59 * **Sand Point Lake:** South Island S17 and Feldt Channel S5

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero. * WHERE...Crow Wing, Aitkin, Pine, Koochiching, Cass, Itasca, Carlton, St. Louis Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band, the Mille Lacs Band, East Lake, Big Sandy Lake, Hinckley and, Lena Lake areas and the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion, Nett Lake and, Deer Creek areas. Other locations including Voyageurs National Park. This also includes the Boundary Waters western area. * WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
