**Beginning September 15, 2025, Gulf Islands National Seashore will launch a project to renovate restroom facilities in the Fort Pickens Campground. The B/D loop restroom and showers have been completed. The project has now moved on to the E loop restroom and shower facilities. To minimize disruption to visitors, only one restroom facility will be closed at a time throughout the project.**
