Northerly winds may occasionally gust to 20 knots on the Potomac and Patapsco Rivers until 3 to 4 AM this morning. Mariners, especially those in small craft, should exercise caution and be prepared for locally higher winds and waves.
Lighthouse Area Closed
A section of Fort Washington Park, including the area around the Fort Washington Lighthouse and nearby sidewalks, will be closed from 12:00 a.m. on May 9, 2025, through 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2025.
Helicopter Training at Fort Washington Park – June 5
Visitors may see or hear low-flying helicopters in Fort Washington Park on June 5 during a scheduled training exercise; please follow all law enforcement direction on site.
