Overnight recoveries as low as 35 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
Fall Hours Start Monday, September 1st
Starting Labor Day, September 1st, Scotts Bluff will transition to fall hours. The visitor center will be open from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm daily. The Summit Road will be open from 9 am until 4 pm daily, conditions permitting.
Old Oregon Trail Road Closure
Old Oregon Trail Road will be closed for construction from Five Rocks Road to the monument visitor center starting at 6 am on Tuesday, August 26th through Friday, August 29th. Visitors will need to access the monument from the west (Nebraska Highway 92).
