About
Rio Grande Village RV Park is the only campground in Big Bend National Park offering full hookups, making it the premier destination for RV campers seeking convenient amenities in this remote desert wilderness. The 25-site facility provides water, 50-amp electrical, and 3-inch sewer connections at each back-in site. Operated by Aramark, the campground sits at 1,850 feet elevation adjacent to the Rio Grande Village Store, which offers supplies, propane fill-ups, and gasoline. The paved lot features grassy, tree-lined edges and is flat throughout, making it accessible for most visitors. On-site amenities include year-round flush toilets, coin-operated showers and laundry, a dump station, trash collection, and ice sales. A staff or volunteer host is present on-site. The nearby store provides food items, RV and camping necessities, cold drinks, and souvenirs. Due to the parking lot configuration, some sites may not accommodate RVs 38 feet or longer. All sites are back-in only with no pull-through options. Pets are allowed but must remain leashed and are prohibited on park trails, in the backcountry, and on the river. Wood and ground fires are prohibited throughout the park; charcoal grills are provided at sites.
