Closed — Closed for the season. Typically operates from late May or early June through September or October, depending on snow conditions. Water is turned off when the campground closes.

About
Kelly Flats Campground offers a peaceful riverside camping experience along the Cache La Poudre River in Roosevelt National Forest. The campground features 29 first-come, first-served sites, including four walk-in tent sites, set in an open conifer forest with varied riparian vegetation along the river corridor. The setting provides a mix of forested areas and more open spaces surrounded by steep mountain terrain. Each campsite is equipped with a tent pad, fire grate with cooking rack, bear locker, and picnic table. The parking spurs range from 15 to 65 feet in length to accommodate various vehicle sizes. Sites are limited to eight people per site, and tents must fit on the provided pads. Vehicles must remain on the parking spur as off-road driving or parking is prohibited. The primary recreation activities include stream fishing in the Cache La Poudre River and simply enjoying the ambience of the flowing water. The campground's location adjacent to Highway 14 provides easy access while maintaining a natural forest setting. Drinking water is available from a hand pump, and vault toilets serve the campground.
Directions
From Fort Collins, drive 10 miles north on U.S. Highway 287. Turn left (west) onto Highway 14 and drive approximately 25 miles. The campground is adjacent to the highway.
