At 501 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles north of Pritchett, or 21 miles northwest of Springfield, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Prowers, northwestern Baca and southeastern Bent Counties.

At 458 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 19 miles northwest of The Saunders Elevator to 10 miles north of Two Buttes to Two Buttes Reservoir. Movement was north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Two Buttes Reservoir.
