* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 45 below. * WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta. * WHEN...Until 1 PM AKST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if exposed to these temperatures. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chills will rise from the -40s to -20s later today. Wind chill values will remain cold over the next several nights, but are not expected to reach below the -30s.
